Change your Garmin watch straps according to the mood – A guide

WatchBand

Most people have the idea that watches are no longer valuable given that you can still pull your mobile out to check the time. This is false. Cell phones never make people punctual. Watches are functional and easy to use. They add simplicity to one’s personality and users can always change their looks with the stylish Garmin watch straps. Watches represent craftsmanship and ethics; they let you make time your best friend-the greatest driver of success.

The basic bands that come with watches are almost like the mobile headphones you receive–they serve a purpose and do the job, but you can do better. Garmin watch straps are not very different.

Fortunately, the bands are simple to replace, and you don’t have to take a trip to the store (which by the way we all know is a pain in the ass). There are a variety of different ways, depending on which watch you have purchased. Garmin watch straps are a standard for convenience in the industry; with variants like quick-release bands, screw-in straps, and QuickFits. Let us guide you through all the ways to change your Garmin watch straps.

QuickFit Bands

The most simple, stylish, and sporty. QuickFit bands are a great choice if you want a Garmin watch strap to wear to both workout and the office. They are a little over the board with prices, but their look justifies all that. Available in silicone, metal, titanium, and leather variants. To change the strap; what you need to do is pull the plastic fast, release the lever down, and the band springs up straight out.

You may need to lower the pin back in, without the original buckle, depending on the band you were initially wearing. Just remove the pin, and affix with the screw-in strings by screwing it back onto the lugs. Follow the guidelines above for the band to quick-release. If you are wearing a QuickFit band already, you should not fiddle with the pin.

Screw-in watch bands

These Garmin watch straps come with two screws that keep the strap in place at either end of the lug. Removing this requires a screwdriver (often supplied with the new bands) and allowing the bar to come out. Be careful to secure the pins and screws in place.

Your new band should be coming in with their pins. Use those and leave the other bands connected to the old ones. Simply insert the new brace into the lug and screw in the screws at both ends using the tools given.

Quick Release bands

Such Garmin watch straps are easy to unclip, coming with a range of brands like Forerunner, Vivoactive, Vivomove, and Approach golf watches. Just drawback on the spring horizontally (usually from a lever sticking off the rear of the strap) and raise it. Hold the pin in place.

No screwdrivers needed here. Push the lever back and hold it while lowering the harness inside the lug. Remove the door, and immediately lock the band in. When it is in the position you can hear a satisfying click.
